Top 5 Voxel Games in Africa: Q3 2021 Performance

In the third quarter of 2021, the top five voxel games on a unified platform in Africa exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Minecraft saw a general decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $17.4K in late June and ending at approximately $12.9K by the end of September. Downloads showed a positive trajectory, climbing from roughly 1.2K to 1.6K weekly. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 86.3K and 93.8K throughout the quarter.

Pixel Gun 3D: Online Shooter experienced a peak in weekly revenue at $2.1K in early July but concluded the quarter at around $923. Weekly downloads increased, starting at 4.1K and peaking at 6.5K. Active users showed growth, beginning at 23.2K and closing the quarter at 33K.

Blockman GO had a consistent revenue stream, fluctuating between $552 and $1.1K weekly. Downloads peaked at over 10.7K in mid-July but settled at around 6.6K by the end of September. Active users peaked at 94.5K in mid-July and gradually declined to 84.7K.

Block Craft 3D: Building Games showed a steady increase in weekly revenue from $300 to $444. However, downloads saw a significant drop from 75.1K to 14K. Active users also decreased sharply from 368.4K to 209.3K over the quarter.

Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari had a relatively stable revenue, ending the quarter at $156. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 1.5K and peaking at 2.1K in mid-September. Active users hovered around 11K to 12K throughout the quarter.
